What is collected

When you send a message through the contact form: your name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (if you add it), the service you’re interested in, how you’d like to be contacted, and your message.

When you visit the website: the website’s hosting and security services record basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working. The site does not use advertising or visitor-tracking cookies.

Why it is collected

Your contact details and message are used only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a plan and a quote, and, if you become a client, to provide the services you asked for. Your information is not used for newsletters or marketing messages unless you separately agree to receive them.

Who it is shared with

Your information is never sold or rented. It is shared only with the service providers needed to run this website and deliver email (the website host and email provider), who may only use it for that purpose and must keep it secure.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and follow up. If no work follows, they are deleted within 12 months. Client information is kept for as long as the law requires for business records.

How it is protected

Form messages are stored securely in the website’s protected admin area, which only the business owner can access. The website uses security software and is kept up to date.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask to see the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request through the contact page and it will be answered within a reasonable time.

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): www.inforegulator.org.za.
